La Maison ivre was founded on 26 November 1991, on Rive droite, in Paris. Two years later in 1993, the store moved to its present trading location on Rive gauche, 38 Jacob street, at the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Please do not query how all this happened. I have no answers. The only thing I know is that since the morning when this great adventure began, I became entirely devoted to the store. In fact it is La Maison ivre that has chosen me.

Twenty years later, I still have the same energy, and I am glad to start my day in this coloured universe. I continue sharing my passion for this way of life. I select potteries, textiles and accessories that correspond to both my sensibility and my personality.
